Bright red embroidery floss may be used to outline the bricks forming the wall on which Humpty is sitting.For the flowers growing on the wall, use deep lavender floss and green for the stems and leaves for contrast.
Humpty’s suit in deep blue or brown in outline stitch with contrasting lighter blue or orange yellow for the cuffs and revers of the coat.
Use white floss in making the French knots for the buttons of the coat.
Lemon yellow embroidery floss is suggested for outlining Humpty’s head. The mouth may be outlined in bright red with cream color or yellow for the nose and hands and blue for the eyes. Black or brown floss may be used for the slippers with deep tan for the socks. Outline the name of the block in black embroidery floss.
