You’ll need
- Iron
- Ironing board
- Muslin
How-to
- Prepare the ironing board by laying a piece of double folded muslin atop a sturdy ironing board.
- Lay the wrinkled pattern piece atop the muslin. Ironing is easier if you lay the pattern crosswise.
- Heat the iron to it’s lowest setting. Test the heat temperature on a piece of paper that’s similar to the pattern piece. If it burns or scorches you know the iron is too hot.
- Quickly iron the pattern piece until wrinkles are removed. Keep the iron moving at all times.
- Fold the pattern piece and place them in their envelope after ironing.
Note: Avoid using steam.
