Dainty delight apron no 1544
Every woman who does work about the house appreciates the necessity of a big apron which may be slipped on over any dress and protect it from soiling.
Such an apron is this Dainty Delight. Excellent in style and practicality. It’s also easy to make and launder. Circa 1940s.
Description: Long skirt (below the knees). Deep front U-line neck. Wide shoulder straps. Single pocket. U-back. Sash tie.
Pattern instructions and pieces are reproduced as it. The original manufacturer is responsible for the design. Original pattern pieces are unmarked, as is the reproduction (see note above).
The original pattern includes three (3) pattern pieces.
The original pattern requires the seamstress to cut two sash ends 4″ wide and about 36″ long to use as a sash. The original pattern does not include the sash pattern piece, as it was to have been made by the seamstress. I’ve designed that pattern piece for you. It is included with the original pattern pieces for your convenience.
Large Bust 40-42
Medium Bust 36-38
