Yesterday, I peeked out the front door and to my delight ALL OF THE SNOW has finally melted. It’s been a long snowy winter here in Nebraska. Record snowfalls. Hopefully, we won’t get one of our infamous Spring winter storms in April or May.
Believe it. It’s happened before.
That aside, there’s greenery popping up all of the yard. I planted new tulips last Fall. I’m anxious to see what they’re going to look like. The yard is a mess-sticks, trigs, and blowing trash to pick up. But it’s much welcomed work.
I just thought about it-all of the snow and cold was good for the tulips-they need the cold burst in order to come up strong in the Spring.
That brings me to these dresses. I’m thinking garden party, springtime time or breezy event.

The sleeves on this dress are to die for! They’re called kimono-slit and are gathered to bands and ties. The waist is elasticized. Can’t you also see adding a slender belt to make it extra pretty. Prettier than it already is? The difference between the two views is the bottom ruffle. Very simple to make in only 8 pieces. Year: 1978. Printed Pattern.

Is a one-piece dress and jacket. Totally adorable. Extremely lady-like and clean. Carrying a purse, basket, large straw bag, or hat. I’m in love with the square neckline and soft pleats in the skirt.
Printed Pattern. Made in 15 pieces.
Both of these patterns would look wonderful in solid or floral prints.
