Called a large format Vogue pattern because of its envelope size. Vogue designer brands: Vogue Paris Original, Vogue American Designer, Vogue Courtier ect.., was the company’s answer to “How to offer the at-home seamstress an opportunity to have designer fashions”.
Large format vintage Vogue designer patterns were made from the slopers of garments actually designed by popular American, French, Italian, Spanish and British designers of the day including: Cardin, Chanel, Dior and Pucci.
The label (Vogue Paris Original) was available on request at the pattern counter when where the patterns were purchased.
